Fisher Street godown, north corner of Boat Quay : exterior [3]

This 1984 photograph shows a godown, located at Fisher Street (north corner of Boat Quay). Investigations reveal that there were two streets named Fisher Street, in different locations. This Fisher Street is possibly named after Mr. Fisher, a former head of the Telegraph Company (in Singapore). The area is now a pedestrian mall located within Merchant Square. Title devised by Library staff.
