This is a 1985 photograph of the single storey bungalow at no. 18 Swettenham Road. A car is parked in the driveway, just before the car porch. The land on which the bungalow house sits is depicted with neat green lawns, plants and trees. The house is similar to the other houses at no. 20, 22, 24, 26 and 28 Swettenham Road. Swettenham Road is probably named after Sir Frank Swettenham, Governor of the Straits Settlement and High Commissioner from 1901 to 1903. Title devised by Library staff.
