Kling Street, Singapore

This shows the front and back of a coloured picture postcard with a photograph of a view of Kling Street, now called Chulia Street. It used to be called Kling Street, which was regarded as derogatory leading to the street being renamed Chulia Street, after the Chulias who migrated to Singapore from Southern India. This card has a divided back and bears a four-cent Straits Settlement stamp.
