This 1983 photograph shows the exterior of shophouses, at North Boat Quay (from South Boat Quay, near Ellenborough Market). The road fronting these shophouses along the quay is also named North Boat Quay. This road has been turned into a pedestrian mall with the restoration and redevelopment of Clarke Quay in the 1990s.
