This 1968 photograph shows Crescent Flats and its surrounding area. Sir Manasseh Meyer, a Jewish businessman, built these flats in 1909. The crescent shape of the flats are based on a similar design of terraced houses in Bath, England. This building was located in the East Coast vicinity, but have since been demolished. Title devised by Library staff.
