This 1986 photograph shows the exterior of a shophouse, at no. 138 Jalan Besar. The two-storey shophouse houses the premises of "Tai Cheong Hardware Trading (Pte) Ltd". The upper floor of the shophouse features fretwork above French windows, covered with lattice glass. Title devised by Library staff.
