This 1983 photograph shows a shophouse (Kong Beng Bookstore), at no. 81 Club Street. One of the oldest stationers in Singapore, Kong Beng Bookstore (also known as Kong Beng Stationary and Sports Pte Ltd) was established in 1947, in the Chinatown area. Title devised by Library staff.
