This 1982 photograph shows Malabar Mosque at Victoria Street, from near the corner of Jalan Sultan towards Rochor Canal. The roads mentioned are near North Bridge Road. Victoria Street was named after Queen Victoria, who, like modern Singapore, was born in 1819. Title devised by Library staff.
