This 1968 photograph shows Mandalay Villa on Amber Road. A tiled footpath can be seen leading to the porch of the house. Mandalay Villa, which was known for its grand façade and large open grounds, was built by Lee Cheng Yan, a prominent Straits Chinese businessman. Title devised by Library staff.
