This 1970s photograph depicts some houses and old shops at Cheong Wan Seng Place, where the donor stayed. It shows the congested conditions in an overcrowded, narrow alley that serves as motorcycle parking and laundry-drying space. Donated by Ang Tiong Cheng, and displayed at the Heritage Roadshow 2008.
