This 1890s photograph shows a boy in a small, two-seater trap drawn by a miniature pony. The boy is in the driver's seat, holding a whip in his right hand and reins in his left hand. Behind the trap is a horse and a groom, who is partially obscured on the left side of the picture. Holding the horse by its mane is a Caucasian woman, who is the boy's mother. Another horse can be see in the background, in the stalls of the stable. Title devised by Library staff. Date of creation estimated. Information contributed by Richard Hale.
