This is a photograph of three shophouses in Chinatown, taken in December 1970. The shophouse in the middle bears the sign in Chinese and in English, "裕成有限公司" and “Joo Seng Co. Ltd” on its tiled façade. An elderly man can be seen standing by the window on the second floor of a neighbouring shophouse. Title devised by Library staff.
