Screenshot of Singapore Symphony Orchestra's online concert during pandemic

"It was a screenshot over my computer while watching the concert from my home. I have attended other concerts before live in person. From the looks of it, there is no audience involved. This is the most striking thing that I observed, on top of the wearing of masks and safe distancing measures. it looks rather sad for a orchestra to be playing to an empty arena. However in this new normal, everyone of us must adapt and grateful that technology has enabled us to view this performance through other means during this pandemic."--Contributed by Tan Ze Wen, as part of the "Documenting COVID-19 in Singapore" collection community call. This photograph is a screenshot of an online concert by Singapore Symphony Orchestra. Members of the orchestra are wearing face masks and are seated at least one metre apart from each other, while performing onstage to a virtual audience. Additional description by Library staff.
