This 1968 photograph depicts some decorative mosaic tiles featuring variously an etched botanical drawing, a delicate painting and a floral pattern. The can be seen on the wall tiles of the altar in a temple. These terracotta ceramic tiles were once commonly used in Peranakan-styled houses and sometimes along the five-foot ways outside shophouses. Title devised by Library staff.
