This photograph shows a scene at one of the mass graves of the Operation Sook Ching victims. A man wearing rubber gloves and boots is squatting down, washing something in a metal basin containing muddied water. Next to the man on the ground is a mat where skulls and bones are neatly placed. This photograph was probably taken in 1966 or 1967. Date of creation estimated. Title devised by Library staff.
