This photograph is a close-up on the Adelphi Building, standing on the site of the old Adelphi Hotel, one of the great hotels in the early days. It depicts the logo and signage of the Adelphi Hotel which was built in 1904 and demolished in 1980, making way for the present building. Title devised by Library staff.
