This postcard from the “Lim Shao Bin Collection” features a photograph that shows a scene at the seaside in Tanjong Katong, Singapore. There are wooden buildings, known as kelong, built on stilts over the sea, with a small bridge extending from the beach to these buildings. There are tall trees along the stretch of the beach, and partially hidden behind the trees there is a building, presumably the Sea View Hotel. The words “Tanjiong Katong and Sea View Hotel, Singapore.” are printed at the bottom of the photograph. Nothing is written on the back of the postcard.
