This 1992 photograph depicts the windows of a house at no. 29 Hamilton Road, which is similar to houses at no. 31, 33, 35, 37, 39, 41, 23, 21, 19, 17 and 15 Hamilton Road. Houses at no. 25, 27 and 29 Hamilton Road have been demolished and replaced by a house at no. 27 Hamilton Road. Hamilton Road is named after Sir Ian Standish Hamilton, a General in the Afghan, Boer and World War I Callipoli campaign and a Lieutenant of the Tower of London. Title devised by Library staff.
