SHOPHOUSES AT JUNCTION OF GEMMILL LANE AND CLUB STREET
Raffles Place, Singapore, with Gemmill's Fountain visible in the right foreground. The drinking fountain was erected in 1864 by John Gemmill, Singapore's first auctioneer. Inscribed with "For the use of all nations at Singapore", it was later moved to Empress Place and now stands at National Museum.
