This 1985 photograph depicts the India House (also known as Bharat Bhavan) at Peirce Road. Built in 1911, it has been the residence of the Indian High Commissioner since 1948. In 1991, the bungalow was earmarked for conservation by the Urban Redevelopment Authority and in 2009 it won the Architectural Heritage Award, Category B. Date of creation estimated.
