"My name is Daphne. I am a small business entrepreneur specializing in custom quilts, home decor and apparel. I run sewing workshops in the hope of perpetuating the love for sewing and quilting. Last year March when our nation went into a circuit breaker lockdown, I decided to start this 100 block challenge among my community of sewers. The challenge was to sew one block a day and hopefully the lockdown would be shorter than this 100 day 100 block challenge. This year during the heightened measure, I sewed the 100 blocks together to commemorate victory! As a nation we can stay strong together. Stay Home, Stay Connected !!"--Contributed by Daphne Tham, as part of the "Documenting COVID-19 in Singapore" collection community call.
