A black and white photograph of the Koyokan Hotel in Tanjong Katong, a Japanese establishment ran by a Junso Ito in 1922. The single-storey villa-styled lodging is surrounded by the Katong beach. More than a handful of local boys are enjoying a swim around the hotel. The hotel appeared to have shifted as its advertised location in 1920 was at Tank Road. The hotel could have ceased its business by 1933 as its advertisements no longer appeared in the newspapers after that year. Date of creation estimated.
