This is a 1982 photograph depicting River Valley Road, with a shophouse in the row next to the Oberoi Hotel. Oberoi Hotel is not found in the present day street directory. As its name describes, River Valley Road winds its way up the northern side of the valley formed by the Singapore River. Title devised by Library staff.
