This 1992 photograph shows Jalan Asas, with a view towards the south. Single-storey houses line both sides of the road. Jalan Asas, like other roads in the Fuyong estate off Upper Bukit Timah Road, was named after a guiding principle in starting an enterprise. Title devised by Library staff.
