This 1983 photograph shows Clarke Street, with its shophouses, from North Boat Quay. Clarke Street, now an expunged road, is named after Straits Settlements Governor Sir Andrew Clarke. Today, the area is part of Clarke Quay Festival Village pedestrian mall. Title devised by Library staff.
