This picture provides a general view of the pond in the Singapore Botanic Gardens, under the shade of the luxuriant branches and leaves of tall mature trees. A man and a lady carrying an umbrella are seen standing beside it. The Gardens at its present site was founded in 1859. Photograph donated by Chua Ai Lin and displayed at Heritage Roadshow 2007.
