This 1993 photograph shows Foch Road, from Lavender Street corner, towards Jalan Besar. It shows a view of rows of two-storey shophouses along Foch Road. There are parked vehicles in parking lots along both sides of the road. Foch Road is named after the Marshal of France Ferdinand Foch, commander of the French army and allied armies in World War I. Title devised by Library staff.
