This 1967 photograph shows a row of shophouses on Stanley Street. Features include full-length French windows, half-length casement windows, fanlights, Chinese-style roof canopies overhanging the five-foot way. Stanley Street was also referred to as ma cho kiong hi tai au, meaning behind the ma cho temple's theatrical stage. Date of creation estimated. Title devised by Library staff.
