This 1992 photograph depicts a three-storey building on Birch Road, from across the open ground between Birch Road and Roberts Lane. Birch Road was named after James Wheeler Woodford Birch, Colonial Secretary of the Straits Settlements 1870 and first British Resident of Perak. Title devised by Library staff.
