This 1969 photograph shows the steeple of St Andrew's Cathedral taken from Raffles Institution (RI). The Anglican Cathedral, which was named after St. Andrew, a patron saint of Scotland is the oldest Anglican house of worship in Singapore. Situated next to the City Hall MRT station, it was gazetted as a national monument in 1973. Date of creation estimated. Title devised by Library staff.
