This photograph shows an aerial view of Kallang Gas Works, nicknamed "the blue tin can". It was opened to the public for the first time before it was demolished in 1998. Piped gas production operation was relocated to the Senoko Gasworks in 1997. A vehicular bridge can be seen in the foreground. Photograph donated by Tan Siak Kuan and displayed at Heritage Roadshow 2007. Title devised by Library staff.
