This is a 1970 photograph of Meyer Road (near "The Grange" house). It shows a view of a hedged road, behind which can be seen coconut palms, and a pair of two-storey houses overlooking the sea. Meyer Road is named after Sir Reuben Manasseh Meyer, the Jewish businessman who built the Chesed-El Synagogue. Title devised by Library staff.
