National Museum, before Night Festival 2010 : night view
This 2010 photograph shows the National Museum, just before the start of the Night Festival, New World 2010 act. Six giant satellite dishes spring from the urban ground right in front the National Museum of Singapore. At the core of the satellite dishes, stroboscopic light flashes quietly, signalling activity. The anchor act is by French performance group Compagnie Off and Singapore film-maker and video artist Victric Thng. Title devised by Library staff.
