This 1982 photograph shows the exterior of house no. 4 Poole Road (built by Lau Chung Kui, circa 1933, a contractor who also built and owned houses no. 1, 3, 5, 14 and 14a). The single-storey house stands on stone posts and features a covered verandah with a stone staircase leading down to the yard. To the left is a room with windows covered with timber louvred shutters.
