This 2010 photograph shows the door and door grille leading to a HDB (Housing and Development Board) flat in block 39A at Commonwealth Avenue. The wooden door, metal door grille and aluminium louvred windows were probably installed when the block was completed in the 1970s. The metal door grille to this unit has straps at the bottom.
