Queenstown SIT flats, entrance road : general view

This 1987 photograph shows a road that leads to blocks of flats in Queenstown. The three-storey flats in this estate were built in the 1950s by the Singapore Improvement Trust (SIT). Today, most of these flats have been demolished. Queenstown estate was named after Queen Elizabeth of Great Britain and Head of the Commonwealth. Title devised by Library staff.
