This 1994 photograph shows an aerial view of Bukit Timah Road. Bukit Timah Road means "tin hill" in Malay. Houses line one side of the road. Bukit Timah Road was built in 1845 and is considered to be the longest road in Singapore (measuring 25km is distance). Title devised by Library staff.
