This 1971 photograph shows the view of a house probably in the early bungalow (1860s) style on Newton Road from its main driveway entrance. It is one storey high, with timber floors elevated on brick piers or timber posts to allow air circulation beneath the house. Features here include air vents for the basement, cloth blinds, casement windows, wooden louvered panels with a fanlight and wooden and stone balustrades. Title devised by Library Staff.
