This is a 1990 photograph of the coastal beach at Changi Point, a view of south-westwards from Franklin Point. Both Changi Point and Franklin Point are not found in the present day street directory. Changi Point is in the Changi Village area, and has always been the focal point of activities from colonial times when it served as military barracks, administrative quarters, entertainment and recreational facilities.
