This 1970s [1978/ 1977 given in photographer's notes] photograph shows shophouses, located at River Valley Road (towards Hill Street). River Valley Road is named due to the Singapore River being seen as a valley between Fort Canning Hill and Pearl's Hill. Date of creation estimated. Title devised by Library staff.
