China Town, Singapore



This is a black-and-white postcard with a photograph of a street scene in Chinatown. Rickshaws are parked along the street. Laundry drying on bamboo sticks are seen on the second floor of the shophouses lining both sides of the street. Today, Chinatown is Singapore's largest historic district and an important and unique ethnic quarter. The back of the postcard is unwritten. Date of creation estimated.
