Wooden clog seller at roadside
This is a pre-1914 photograph from E. A. Brown's collection. It shows a wooden clog seller wearing a traditional conical hat, squatting by the roadside in front of a shophouse. Wooden clog bases are placed in two baskets on the ground, on either side of the vendor. A carrying pole used for transporting the wooden clogs is placed in one of the baskets. No date of creation provided. Title devised by Library staff. Information contributed by Richard Hale.
