This 1993 photograph shows a house, at no. 221 Tanjong Katong Road (at Dunman Lane corner). Tanjong Katong is Malay for turtle point. Katong is the name of a species of sea turtles now extinct. The name can also mean the rippling effect of a mirage across the shoreline. Title devised by Library staff.
