Tanjong Katong, Singapore



A black and white postcard of a seafront bungalow at Tanjong Katong, which is heavily shaded by coconut trees. Several kolek or small wooden boats are parked at the shore. The bungalow is also accessible by a wooden bridge. In the early 1900s, Tanjong Katong was labelled a health resort for its rejuvenating holiday lodgings teeming with weekenders from the city.
