This 1993 photograph shows Thong Bee Road, from Sembawang Road. It shows a view of a rural street with shops housed in single-storey buildings on both sides. Several cars and a pick-up truck can be seen parked along the roadside. Thong Bee Road is named after Lim Nee Soon's shop in Beach Road. Lim Nee Soon (1879 - 1936), was a respected community leader and an influential businessman in Singapore. Title devised by library staff.
