This 1986 photograph shows a building on the corner of Allenby Road. The three-storey building has a curved façade. The sign "International Hotel" and its translation in Chinese can be seen on the second and third storey, while the first storey is a coffee shop as indicated by the sign"Sing Wah Coffee Shop". Allenby Road is named after Edmund Allenby, 1st Viscount, who served the British armed forces in South Africa, France, Turkey and Egypt. Title devised by Library staff.
