This 2004 photograph shows a general view of the restored, and colourful shophouses in the Clarke Quay area. These shophouses, which are located on the bank of Singapore River, have now been converted to restaurants and pubs, some of which are alfresco. Bumboats anchored near the river bank can be seen in the foreground. Title devised by Library staff.
