This photograph is part of NLB 1960s to 1970s photographs (Album 6) collection. It shows a table with glass cover in South East Asia Room in National Library at Stamford Road. The books on display are on men of Asia. Set up in 1964 South East Asia Room housed the Reference Department and Collection at the National Library at Stamford Road and was renamed to Singapore Resource Centre in 1998 at the then National Reference Library at Stamford Road. The facility was again renamed to Lee Kong Chian Reference Library at the new National Library Board building at Victoria Street in 2005. Title devised by Library staff.
