This image shows the back of the postcard "Newcastle railway station and Neville Street, postcard". A message in black ink is handwritten on the divided back of the postcard. Dated "III 14/7/22", the postcard is written by "S. H." to "Miss P. N. Song". The writer writes about the facilities of the hotel at Newcastle, and compares their experiences staying at hotels in Newcastle and Harrogate. The text "Passed by Press Bureau for Public, Oct. 2nd, 1916 (Valentine's Series)" is printed on the left margin of the postcard, while the text "British manufacture" is printed at the top left of the postcard.
