Tarabagan burrow opened up near Manchouli , 19 August 1911



This photograph shows a tarabagan burrow opened up near Manchouli. A hat is in the foreground near the burrow. Parts of this burrow have been labelled "2", "3" and "4". Tarabagans were the cause of two plagues in North Manchuria and East Manchuria in 1910-11 and 1920-21. This was taken on 19 August 1911. Title devised by Library staff.
